This mariculture works is land-based rather than mainly in the sea (See PPCC Inc. Policy Statement No. 13: "Aquaculture in and near Port Phillip"), but its visual intrusion of unscreened industrial buildings right on the coast, its clearly visible undersea pipes, and its conspicuous and obtrusive works scarring the Foreshore Reserve are unacceptable.
