Proposed New or Expanded Commercial Operations on Foreshore Reserves

Further commercial development must not be allowed on public foreshore reserves. There is adequate private land adjacent to the foreshore to accommodate all such development. The foreshore should never be degraded, as it inevitably would be, for private gain. 

No new leases, or extension of existing leases, on foreshore reserves, for commercial purposes, should be allowed.
